Lewiston Draw 08-31

Below is the draw for tomorrow night's jackpot in Lewiston. If you did not pre-enter and would like to be put on the draw sheet, email statelinejackpot@gmail.com by 2:00 p.m. tomorrow and you will get on the draw sheet for tomorrow night.  Late entries will be taken at the jackpot in the crow's nest. Youth barrels starts at 6:30, followed by the open barrels, youth poles, open poles, time only poles, and time only barrels.

REMEMBER THAT YOU MUST ATTEND AT LEAST 5 JACKPOTS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR YEAR-END AWARDS.  THIS IS THE 7TH JACKPOT AND WE WILL HAVE 10 TOTAL (2 make up jackpots have not been scheduled yet).

Remember that we can always use help manning the barrels, poles, and gates. There is the pot incentive that gets split at the end of the night for our barrel, pole, and gate setters, so if you would like to be a setter, let us know tomorrow night at the jackpot.

Points standings for the jackpots through 08/17/2015 for Youth Barrels, Open Barrels, Youth Poles, and Open Poles are posted to the right-side of the website!

Points are calculated by rider-horse combination. Points are awarded as such: 5 points to 1st place in each division, 4 points to 2nd, 3 points to 3rd, 2 points to 4th, and 1 point to 5th. A membership must have been purchased ($25 open; $15 youth) prior to competing in order to receive points. If you did NOT turn in a completed membership form to the crow's nest, we do not have record of you becoming a member.

REMEMBER: YOU MUST ATTEND AT LEAST HALF THE YEAR'S JACKPOTS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR YEAR-END AWARDS!!!! (We are still going to re-schedule the two canceled jackpots, location and date TBD.)

Preston Results 08-17

The results from last night's barrel race in Preston are posted below.  A huge thank you to all that helped stake, announce, set barrels & poles, and man the gates.  We also appreciate everyone being ready at the gate so we could get everyone run as quickly as possible!  

A huge thank you goes out to Wes Harris for running the tractor.  He does a fabulous job getting the arena ready in Preston and spends countless hours (over the course of the weekend) prepping for our jackpots.  All his time spent getting the arena in prime condition is done on his own time, so please give him a huge thank you when you see him!!!

Our next race is August 31 in Lewiston.  A reminder email will be sent out next week to enter.  See you there!

Lewiston Jackpot 08-03 CANCELED

Tonight's barrel race in Lewiston is CANCELED due to the amount of rain received and the thunderstorms in the weather forecast!!  Please let friends and family know that were going to the barrel race of the cancellation.  We will let you know when the make-up jackpot for tonight's will be re-scheduled.

Our next jackpot is in Preston on August 17.  Hope to see you there!
