2015 Schedule & Rule Changes

Since we are having spring-like weather and spring is just around the corner, let's get back in action for the new barrel racing season!!!!

Because our association is growing with more people each year, we are going to increase our association to a 4D (4 division) format! We will pay 3 places in each division to keep the payouts worth the money split. The divisions will be divided as follows: 1D winner = fastest time; 2D winner = fastest time + 1/2 second; 3D winner = fastest time + 1 second; 4D winner = fastest time + 2 seconds. The youth barrels, youth poles, and open poles will keep the same splits as 2014.

Membership fees and entry fees will be the same as 2014. Open memberships (13 and up) are $25, youth memberships (12 and younger) are $15. Open events are $26 to enter for members ($28 for nonmembers), youth events are $16 to enter for members ($18 for nonmembers).

Tentative schedule for 2015:
April 20 - Preston
May 11 - Malad
May 18 - Preston
June 1 - Malad
June 29 - Lewiston
July 13 - Malad
August 3 - Lewiston
August 17 - Preston
August 31 - Lewiston
September 14 - Preston

We will keep the barrel setter incentive pot to be split out for our barrel setter help each night at the jackpots. We will also give another saddle at the year-end awards banquet for the high-point winner (given to the horse-rider combo with the most points on a single horse in a single division in a single event).

More information will be coming SOON!!

P.S. I will respond to each of your individual emails as quickly as possible. If you have not received your 2014 member gift jacket or award, you can make arrangements via email or text/phone call to pick up your jacket in Lewiston or Logan during the week.
