Hey all,

If you have not sent me an RSVP email with the number of people in your party, please get it to me ASAP. We need an ACCURATE count for the caterer. Please get me these numbers as soon as possible so they buy enough food for all of us!

The banquet will be held on Monday, October 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the Robinson Building at the Franklin County Fairgrounds. Members will get their meals for free; non-members will be charged $7 per person.

Also, each member needs to help by bringing the following to the banquet (according to last name):*A-L - please bring a dessert

**RSVP FOR THE 2013 STATELINE JACKPOT ASSOCIATION AWARDS BANQUET!!!** Reservations are due by October 10. Please email statelinejackpot@gmail.com with your member name and party number.

The awards banquet will be on October 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the Robinson Building at Franklin County (Preston) Fairgrounds. All members get their meals FREE!! All non-members/guests will be charged $7 per plate/person.

The meat and potatoes for the meal will be catered. We ask that all members' families bring a side dish according to your last name:
*A-L - please bring a dessert
*M-Z - please bring a side dish/salad

There will be raffle prizes, door prizes, sweatshirts (for members), and awards given at the banquet.

Because the meat and potatoes are being catered, please RSVP so we have an accurate count. (Last year, we were short on meals because there were more people that showed than had previously reserved their spot. Please give an accurate count so everyone will get food. )

This is the LAST CALL for sweatshirt sizes. The order will be done this weekend, so make sure if you are a PAID member, you get me a sweatshirt size.

Preston Results 09-23

A big thank you to everyone that helped at the jackpot last night.  It was a great turn out for the last jackpot of the season.  Points will updated as soon as possible - probably by tomorrow afternoon.  Checks will be (hopefully) sent out by Thursday morning.

It doesn't have to be the same horse, but a RIDER must enter in the Open or Youth events at least five times for their points to be eligible for awards. If a member did not attend five jackpots, points are thrown out.

3. Remember to get me your jacket sizes. If you do not get my your jacket size by Sept 27, we will not order one for you. You must be a paid member to receive a jacket. Extra jackets may be purchased at the jackpot Monday for $25.

4. Sponsorship money is also due by Sept 27. For every $50 in membership donations a member receives, the member will get 1 ticket into a drawing for an IFA giftcard. Jacket sponsors need to be at least $250 and will go on the front of 10 jackets.

Sponsorships

Now's the time to get your sponsors for the awards banquet. For every $50 sponsor you get, one ticket for that member will be put into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate to IFA. If you get $100 worth of sponsors, your name will go on two tickets, etc. The following are the amounts to be each sponsor:

*Sponsors = $50 (gives that member 1 ticket per $50 donated into the drawing)
*Buckle Sponsors = $125 (the sponsor will be able to attend the banquet and present the buckle to the receiving member, plus the member gets 2 tickets into the drawing)
*Jacket Sponsors = $300 (the sponsor's name/company name will be on the front side of the sweatshirt, plus 6 tickets for the member into the drawing)

All of the sponsors will be appreciated at the awards banquet. Please bring the sponsorship donations to either the Preston jackpot or get in touch with Nicole for more information. Jacket sponsors will need to be received by September 26 to have their company name/logo on the jackets.

Member Jacket Sizes

It's time to order sweatshirts again!! We are going to do the same style and design as last year, but this year's colors will be pure black with a lime green-ish print for the writing and the barrel racer on the back. The jackets last year were the heather gray with teal writing. They were zip-up hoodies with pull strings for the hood, pockets on each side.

Please email statelinejackpot@gmail.com with your jacket size and for which member you are ordering. The jackets come in adult unisex and youth unisex.

**All memberships come with a free jacket. We have a list of PAID MEMBERSHIPS (this would have cost an EXTRA $25 to become a member at the first jackpot at which you competed). If you did not fill out a member form at the beginning of the year to become a member, I WILL NOT HAVE YOU DOWN ON THE LIST OF MEMBERS FOR JACKET ORDERS. If you are a nonmember wanting a jacket, you may purchase one for $25 by paying at the next jackpot, or getting hold of me (Nicole) within the next two weeks.

Preston Results 09-09

We had an awesome turnout last night and we thank each and every one of you that helped.  We had a lot of people willing to help set barrels (and especially poles) and man the gates.  We appreciate all the help that you guys gave us to help keep the jackpot running smoothly.  All workers for this association get nothing more than a thank you, so if you ever see someone volunteering at the jackpots, please let them know your appreciation.  

Stateline Jackpot appreciates tractor man Wes Harris for making the new stakes that stayed in the ground all night, letting us finish everything early.  Also, I would like to thank Jill, Wes, Bailey, and everyone else that helped stake the arena last night.  Last minute emergencies kept me from getting to the arena until later in the evening, and I appreciate everyone that helped get the jackpot ready to go.

I am getting together all the information for the member sweatshirts, banquet, and sponsorship information.  I will send out an email later today and a notification letting you know more info.
