Enter now by email for Monday's jackpot in Lewiston. Remember to include rider name, horse name, a contact phone number, and exactly which event to enter (open barrels, open poles, youth barrels, youth poles, time only barrels before, time only barrels after, or time only poles). Please remember that time onlys before the jackpot are extremely limited, so enter ASAP.
A big thank you to everybody that helped in Preston. Thank you to Trudy Austin for letting us use her groomer last night. Also, thank you to all that help in the office. It takes a lot of tedious work to get all the paperwork done for all the members. And to every one who helps in the arena, A HUGE THANK YOU! Without those that volunteer to set barrels, groom the arena, check timers, etc., we would not have a jackpot!!
A note to all members: It takes a lot of work to put on these jackpots, especially since every thing is volunteer-based. Last night we were extremely short-handed. The
help FROM ALL MEMBERS (and members' families) is essential to make the
jackpots a success. We always seem to have the same volunteers at each
of the jackpots (setting up barrels, checking timers, etc.) If there is already a person covering a barrel, VOLUNTEER TO GIVE THEM A BREAK (otherwise, they might be there all night)! As soon as
you get done with your run(s) or have extra time, please volunteer to
help set barrels or check the timers. It takes the help of EACH MEMBER
and their family to help put on these jackpots.
