Reminders & Info.

Don't forget to stop in at Peterson's Country Store to enter for a FREE PAIR OF BOOTS. This is for Stateline members only so someone from our association WILL win. One entry per week until November 12th.

We are still accepting sponsor money. We will put your name in a drawing for a $100.00 gift card to Peterson's for every $50.00 sponsor.

We are shooting for Monday, November 15th at 6:30 for our year end awards banquet. This date is not yet official so check your e-mail and the blog for updates. It will be held at the Robinson Building at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Preston.

We have lots of great prizes, food and fun planned.

2016 Rules

*To be in the draw for a jackpot you have to enter by emailing statelinejackpot@gmail.com by 7:00 pm the day before. If you need to scratch out of the draw or need to change something, please notify us through email. Otherwise fix it at the jackpot. On the day of the Jackpot if you can’t make it, or are running late please call Cessilee at (208) 339-7185 . If you don’t show 3 times after entering, you will be placed at the end of the draw for the rest of the season.

*A 3-minute time allowance from the first time your name is called, if you haven’t entered the arena by then you will be turned out or placed at the end of the draw. Sorry, due to the size of the jackpots that is all we can wait.

*If the Timer Malfunctions you will have the option of a re-run or a refund.

*A knocked over barrel equals a no time in the open. Youth barrels is +5, A knocked pole in both youth and open will be +5.

*Time Only’s will be on a first come first serve basis. Pay at the gate (CASH ONLY) Time Only's are $3 per run or 2 runs for $5. One time only is 60 seconds; if you go over that time it will count for two. Must remain in a forward motion. Time only’s will start at 5:00. Pole-Bending Time-only's will be after the Jackpot.

*No abusing or ill-treating horses, other riders or children will be tolerated! NO EXCESSIVE or ABUSIVE SCHOOLING BEFORE OR AFTER YOUR RUN! Please be courteous of other riders while warming up. Any un-sportsmen like conduct will be given a warning and the next time could be asked to leave.

* You might be moved up in the draw during a jackpot, especially the last rakes.

*Membership fees are $30 for open and $15 for the youth. Youth must be 12 years or younger as of 01/01/2016.

*Member entry fees are $30 for open per run and $15 for youth per run.

*Non-members entry fees are $35 for open and $20 for youth. (There is a $5 non-member fee per jackpot run.)

*You must have a membership and have had participated at least half of the season’s races (5) to qualify for the year-end awards AND Sponsor Jackets. (If you do not participate at half of the races and would still like a Sponsor Jacket you may purchase one for the cost of the Jacket.)

*Points will only be earned AFTER your membership dues have been paid.

*Each rider can only hold a membership in EITHER the open division or youth division, NOT BOTH. There are no carry-overs between the open and youth.

*Each horse-rider combination may only run once in each event. Points are accumulated based on horse-rider combinations. Members must enter using horse's name; cannot enter using horse 1, horse 2 ect., If a rider has multiple horses, you must run in the order the horses are drawn, there will be no switching.

*Division splits OPEN BARRELS: 1D fastest time, 2D +1/2 second, 3D + 1 second, 4D +2 seconds. OPEN POLES is a 1/2 split . YOUTH BARRELS & POLES are FULL second splits.

*There will be a $30 return check fee on all returned checks! All return checks have to be paid before you are allowed to race. If not paid within a month a late fee of $10 will be added each month until paid. And you will be placed on cash only bases.

*If you receive a year-end award you must be present or have a representative there to receive the award or the award will be passed down to the next qualified racer that is present, Unless notified of an emergency. Sorry, the banquet is not just for the winners, it’s for the sponsors. Representatives will have to sign for any checks or awards.
