Jamie Barnes Family Benefit - Barrel Race Draw

Below is the draw for tomorrow's benefit race in Malad.  Time onlys run from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.  Youth barrels start at 9:00 and the open barrels will start immediately after the last youth runner.  Please remember that this is a CASH ONLY barrel race.  Payouts will be done shortly after the barrel racing ends.

The team roping will sign up at 11:00, rope at 12:00.

The silent auction will also be going on during the barrel race/team roping.  Bids for the auction items will close at 1:00.  CASH ONLY for auction items as well.

The Benefit Barrel Race and Team Roping for this Saturday is STILL ON!!!

Oneida County and Stateline Jackpot Association are working on the arena conditions as we speak! THERE IS NO STANDING WATER IN THE ARENA - you can walk through the arena without getting your boots muddy! The arena has been worked, it is drying out quickly, it will NOT be slick, and tomorrow's weather forecast is BEAUTIFUL!

Please remember that tomorrow's events are for the sole purpose of a FAMILY BENEFIT. While there is a 60/30 payback, the barrel race and team roping is for the benefit of Jamie Barnes' family, not for competition. Please come and support this family regardless of arena conditions.

Jamie Barnes Family Benefit - Arena Update

We appreciate everyone's patience with the benefit this Saturday. We are trying to keep in contact with every single one of your that has been asking about arena conditions. Mother Nature has been very moody this spring!!!! We are taking one final look tomorrow at the arena and we will assess the arena conditions. If the arena is not usable, we will postpone the barrel race and team roping (hopefully to June 6 - TBD). Please watch the Stateline Jackpot Facebook page and this website for updates on the arena condition and the postponing of this benefit.

Jamie Barnes Family Benefit Barrel Race

A reminder that Stateline Jackpot Association will be taking entries for the Jamie Barnes Family Benefit Barrel Race for this Saturday, May 30 at the Malad arena.

Entries can be submitted by email to statelinejackpot@gmail.com at any time until 9:00 p.m. Friday night. You may also enter by calling/texting 435-232-0775 Friday night between 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The draw will be sent out by email and will also be available on the website: statelinejackpot.blogspot.com.

Time Onlys: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. $3 each or $5 for 2
Youth Barrels: 9:00 a.m. $15/entry
Open Barrels: Immediately following the youth barrels $25/entry

There will also be a silent auction going on during the barrel race (ending at 1:00). Any donated silent auction items are appreciated. A team roping will also be held after the barrel race. Sign up at 11:00; rope at 12:00.

Preston Jackpot - CANCELED

Monday's jackpot in Preston has been canceled due to weather conditions. We will let you know of a rescheduled date for this jackpot.  Our next jackpot will be Monday, June 1 in Malad. An entry email will be sent out the week before as a reminder to sign up.

The June 1 Malad jackpot will be taking donations for the Jamie Barnes family, along with donating all the time only money. The benefit jackpot for the Jamie Barnes family will be within the next few weeks - we will let you know the details later this week.
